Y11 pupils enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Slimbridge Wetland Centre, where they had the opportunity to explore a variety of habitats and learn about wildlife conservation.
Throughout the day, pupils observed a wide range of birds and wetland animals, took part in engaging activities, and developed their understanding of the natural environment. They particularly enjoyed exploring the different exhibits, spotting wildlife, and learning how wetlands play an important role in protecting biodiversity.
The visit provided valuable hands-on learning experiences, helping pupils to deepen their knowledge of science and geography while encouraging curiosity about the world around them. The children represented the school exceptionally well, demonstrating enthusiasm, good behaviour, and respect for the environment throughout the day.
We would like to thank the staff at Slimbridge Wetland Centre for providing such an enjoyable and memorable experience for our pupils as well as Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership (GCRP) for kindly sponsoring the visit.
