Year 8 pupils will be undertaking a guided tour to visit the areas connected with arguably the City's finest hour.
This Tour will be held by Gloucester Civic Trust.
Pupils are currently studying The Stuarts and have spent the last term focusing on The English Civil War.
This guided tour will enable the girls to relate this learning to local history, with particular focus on The Siege of Gloucester in 1643, when a small garrison of Parliamentarians, led by Colonel Massey, held the might of Charles I and his Royalist army at bay at a significant point in the English Civil War.
